To make a copy of both sides of the ID card, lift up the document feeder and place the ID card on top of the glass in the left corner (first side facing the glass) The glass may remain open. There is no need to lower the document feeder. |

Then, on the printer touch screen, touch the “Easy Copy” button marked with number one on the screen shot. | |
Touch on “Detail”, which is marked by a number two on the screenshots. | |
Touch “Others”, which is marked by a number three on the screenshot, | |
Touch “Card Shot”, which is marked by a number 4 on the screenshots. | |
Touch “On”, which is marked by a number 5 on the screenshot.
… and then touch “Color Start”, which is marked by a number 6 on the screenshot. The machine then scans the first side of the ID card. |

Now turn the ID card around. Place the card face down on the glass. In exactly the same position as before. | |
Touch “Start Color”, which is marked by a number 7 on the screenshot.
The machine then scans the back of the ID card. Once done, touch on the “Read End” which is marked by number 8 on the screenshot.. The printer should now print a copy of the ID card with both sides of the card on the first side of the paper. |
